'South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project'is by Philip Munroe, Community Outreach Officer. Philip is responsible for raising awareness of this project through a variety of educational and community events and activities.

The project aims to ensure the survival of the wild eagle population in the South of Scotland. The birds are flourishing in the north, but seem reluctant to venture further south. Unlike other similar projects, a small number of Golden Eagles have survived in Southern Scotland. The aim is to supply these vulnerable birds with a vital life-line to prevent its extinction.

Tony Marsh will send out further details of how to access the meeting nearer the date.
